CHARACTER SIDES
​ Once the pride of the city and a top-tier basketball player, Eddie’s identity is built around the game. After a brutal knee injury, his world collapses, endorsements gone, friends fading, self-doubt festering. Proud, emotional, and stubborn, he clings to hope through rehab, only to fall under the seductive influence of his therapist. His journey shifts from physical recovery to psychological survival as he realizes he’s being manipulated.

​ Eddie’s devoted mother—a no-nonsense, faith-driven woman who raised him with tough love. Diane’s warmth and protective instinct make her both the heart and conscience of the story. She senses Evelyn’s manipulation early and becomes the emotional anchor, fighting to pull her son back to reality.

Eddie’s brother and best friend (20's) is funny, loyal, but street-smart enough to smell danger. He provides levity amid the tension but becomes crucial when Evelyn’s control tightens. His protective loyalty turns into confrontation as he risks everything to save Eddie from a woman hiding behind professionalism.

Eddie’s fast-talking sports agent is ambitious, savvy, and always chasing the next deal. Initially motivated by money and publicity, Sylvia inadvertently introduces Evelyn to Eddie, unknowingly setting the stage for the trap. She later tries to help clean up the fallout once she realizes Evelyn’s intentions aren’t purely medical.
